Industrial pattern making requires a high level of flexibility in order to adapt the designers’ indications to industrial rules.
This profession was born after the industrialization of the clothing and apparel industry, as the process required a standardization of sizes. Industrial pattern makers translate sketches and prototype sheets into a multi-size pattern.
You can choose one of the following areas: Womenswear, Menswear, Casual, Children, Beachwear and Sportswear, Corsetry and Lingerie.

You will learn how to develop standard and irregular sizes, how to transform the sketch created by the designer into an accurate pattern and follow its development phases.
