Program Description

The Master of Arts in TESOL degree is designed to train professionals how to teach people who are learning to speak English as a second language. Graduates will have the opportunity to work with children in pre-school throughout high school, in adult education programs with refugees and immigrants, or in college or university programs. The students' place of employment may be within the United States or overseas. This program emphasizes the practical application of theory to the classroom. 

Southeast offers traditional face-to-face classes for students who would like to come to campus and online classes for students who prefer to take courses from any country in the world.
